Essentra plc is Hiring a Technical Sales Representative Near Westchester, IL

Essentra is adding a Sales Representative based in the Chicagoland area to our Access Hardware sales team. As the Sales Representative for the East region, you will be responsible for increasing sales revenue through extensive prospecting and cold-calling to cultivating new clients along with building stronger relationships with already established clients.

As a goal-driven Sales Representative you will have the opportunity to prospective a wide range of potential clients including but not limited to equipment manufacturers, automotive, industrial electronics, fabrication, medical devices, renewable energy, production machinery, construction and agriculture manufacturers. Essesntra is a global market leader in plastic injection molded, vinyl dip molded and metal components with a portfolio of over 40,000 products to meet our client’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing strong prospecting and cold calling skills grow our client base.
  • A consultative approach to coordinate with clients on proposals, technical support, samples, quotes and/or any customer issues.
  • Ability to field commercial and technical questions posed by seller, customers and internal support functions within the company.
  • Meet defined sales KPI’s (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
  • Must be willing to travel 75% of the time.

Who we are looking for:

  • Proven track record of sales performance.
  • Previous experience utilizing a CRM (Salesforce or MS Dynamics preferred)
  • An effective communicator with strong consultative sales skills.
  • Outstanding Customer service.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
